- Short term provision of extra development resources. Your development teams are fully deployed but a project comes in that presents a tempting opportunity to the business. - Design Review. You have a new strategic IT approach, you have planned it out meticioully. It will radically change your business. You will spend a significant budget. You need an independant view of the strategy and design. We can help by providing an independant design and engineering apprisal. Software engineering is young compared to most engineering disciplines. It is common in other engineering disciplines to ask consultant engineers to validate plans for structures and plants. As best practices within software engineering emerge and develop, the same technique as used by older engineering disciplines will be adopted. Design review by an independant consulting engineer is one such that we can apply in our industry right now. We can bring to the review a knowledge of how other firms have solved similar problems.
